From 1913 until 1957, Forp Studios, founded by Hiram Forp, churned out low budget films for people, who, according to Mr. Forp, “Don’t give a damn what kind of moving picture it is, so long as the damn thing is moving.” Yet this unassuming movie mill nurtured some of the finest and most underappreciated directorial talents in cinema history.
