Cantler’s Co-sign Cosine
S. Burnham Cantler claims that if the ratio of principal to interest exceeds the ratio of a side of a right-angled triangle adjacent to an acute angle to the hypotenuse (where the hypotenuse equals the sum of principal and interest), you should tell your son that, gee, you’d like to help, but he should ask his mother, your ex-wife, to co-sign his car note instead.
