Teacher Maribell Francis posits that if you expose any size group of high school students to a new piece of information:
1/3 of the students will jot it down in a notebook they will later lose
1/3 of the students will want to know whether it will be on the test, and
1/3 of the students will question how it will help them get a job at the mall
